They work with senior management to define technical road maps aligned with market directions and communicate across other Business Units to share applicable technology. Our Engineering Managers leverage TE global technology to increase competitive position and increased value to our customers. They identify relevant technology trends and opportunities, develop relationships and partnerships with key customers, industry leaders and core suppliers, define and manage IP strategy, assess talent and implement development plans to assure succession planning and organization capability.What your background should look like:Qualifications:Mechanical, Material Science or Mechatronic Engineering degree (or equivalent).7+ years of experience, preferably in product design/sustaining for the aerospace industry.Fully Bilingual English - Spanish.Experience with CREO or SolidWorks design software.Understand good engineering principles and design practices.Familiar with Aerospace specifications and standards.GDT – Geometric Tolerances / stack up analysis experience, Lean Manufacturing or Six Sigma environment preferred.Strong mechanical and material analysis; troubleshooting skills.Strong interpersonal and communication skills (oral and written).Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously.Must be a self-managed team player with superior time management skills.Must be able to clearly articulate their ideas, listen actively, and provide constructive feedback.
