The Manufacturing Engineering Manager will be managing aspects of technical operation for Motors production in the Torreon, Coahuila Facility. This role focuses on productivity, continuous improvement methodology, process engineering, capacity needs, supporting motor manufacturing and lead the talent on this team.
Job Description: Duties & Responsibilities Manage and develop the Motor Engineering and Maintenance Team in accordance with Milwaukee Tool's company culture. Create well-defined career paths for team members and support their growth by constantly monitoring, evaluating, and sharing feedback/ coaching, as well as evaluate their performance and apply action plans as needed. Assist in planning and prioritizing motor engineering/ maintenance needs and prevent constraints. Drive and assist equipment, tooling and process safety analysis for the motor manufacturing department. Responsible for providing technical leadership for projects. Manage the technical side of a team of engineers. Requires making complex design decisions and the ability to set the example for the team. Closely monitor and improve the motor, tooling and plastic injection processes to plan, support and obtain internal operation resources needed to meet manufacturing requirements. Drive the non-functional platform requirements necessary to keep the platform scalable, available, and reliable. Manage activities, driving rapid product innovation while ensuring reliable service. Constantly find new ways to improve the architectural design to deliver on time and with quality. Manage CAPEX and OPEX for the motor engineering/maintenance team. Take part in the annual budget planning and keep control of that budget for the Motors Team. Tools we need you to have: Mechanical Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Electronic Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Manufacturing Process Engineering Degree or related field. +5 years of experience in engine manufacturing and quality. +5 years of experience in a leadership role Experience in lean manufacturing implementation. Experience in motor maintenance equipment Excellent Leadership skills Experience in equipment and machinery automation Managing Continuous Improvement, lean, six sigma, TPS methods. Handling of PC tools like Microsoft Project Word Excel Powerpoint, PowerBI Knowledge in the development of new technology. Experience with capacity analysis of machinery equipment #J-18808-Ljbffr
