This role focuses on executing sourcing activities including supplier identification, managing requests for quotes (RFQs), bid evaluation, contract negotiation, and contract awarding. The Tactical Sourcing Manager works closely with internal stakeholders to meet operational needs while optimizing costs, quality, and supplier performance.Tasks & Responsibilities:Sourcing Execution: Execute end-to-end procurement processes, including supplier identification, request for proposal (RFP) development, bid evaluation, negotiations, purchase order placement, and full implementation of buying channel strategy. Ensure compliance with procurement policies, procedures, and applicable regulations.Supplier Coordination: Collaborate with suppliers to obtain quotes, negotiate pricing and terms, resolve issues, and ensure timely delivery of goods and services. Maintain effective communication channels with suppliers to address inquiries and manage relationships.Contract Management: Conduct contract management activities, including contract creation, modifications, and renewals. Maintain contract documentation, track key milestones, and ensure compliance with contractual obligations.Supplier Relationship Management: Foster positive relationships with suppliers through effective communication, collaboration, and issue resolution. Conduct regular supplier meetings, provide feedback, and identify opportunities for improvement or value-added initiatives.Process Improvement: Identify process inefficiencies, bottlenecks, and areas for improvement within the procurement function. Propose and implement process enhancements to optimize procurement operations, streamline workflows, and increase efficiency.Data Analysis and Reporting: Collect, analyze, and report procurement data to support decision-making, measure performance, and identify trends. Generate regular reports on key metrics, such as spend analysis, cost savings, supplier performance, and compliance.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders, including Global and Regional Category Management, operations, outsourcing provider, and finance, to ensure alignment and effective execution of sourcing activities.Team Leadership: In case of a Team Lead Role: Lead and supervise a team of Sourcing Managers, providing guidance, coaching, people development, and fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture.What will you enjoy doing (duties/tasks):Category Strategy: Develop and implement category strategies for all Regional sub-categories in alignment with organizational targets, stakeholders, and senior management, considering market trends, cost drivers, efficiency, supplier capabilities, and risk mitigation.Supplier Relationship Management: Build and maintain strategic relationships with key suppliers, including contract negotiation, performance monitoring, and continuous improvement initiatives.Strategic Sourcing: Conduct and support strategic sourcing initiatives, including supplier identification, competitive bidding, fact-based negotiations, contract award, and full implementation of buying channel strategy.Stakeholder Collaboration: Collaborate with internal stakeholders and senior management to ensure alignment of procurement strategies with business needs.Demand Planning: Propel and conduct demand planning activities together with the business to estimate and forecast future demand for goods and services.Risk Management: Identify and assess risks related to the sub-categories, and develop and implement risk mitigation strategies to ensure continuity of supply.Performance Monitoring and Reporting: Track and evaluate supplier performance against key performance indicators (KPIs) and service level agreements (SLAs).Continuous Improvement: Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements, cost savings, and efficiency gains within the sub-categories.Compliance: Ensure compliance with relevant legal and regulatory requirements, such as ethical sourcing practices, sustainability initiatives, and international trade regulations.Equal Opportunity Employer–minorities/females/veterans/individuals with disabilities/sexual orientation/gender identity
