Sobre nuestro clienteInternational Consumer Goods CompanyDescripciónOversee financial compliance, SOX controls, and reporting for Mexico operations.Manage VAT refunds, inventory accuracy, and operational process improvements.Oversee month-end closing processes and review journals, reports, and reconciliations prepared by direct reports.Ensure compliance with GAAP and EPC's policies and procedures, including SOX controls, for Mexico Operations and Inventory transactions.Evaluate and monitor process controls to ensure compliance with SOX, both internal controls and controls at the outsource provider.Lead the end-to-end VAT process refund including the requests and follow-up for the Government refunds.Review any Tax and Legal Reporting required for Plant Operations in Mexico.Maintain and update Global Operations Policy and Procedure documents as needed.Provide input on budget and forecasting in collaboration with Operations and Finance teams.Partner with the Master Data team to coordinate the appropriate costing input in the system.Ensure accuracy of balance sheet accounts, such as Inventory, Fixed Assets, and GR/IR balances, through regular balance sheet account reconciliation reviews and analysis of fluctuations.Act as a Subject Matter Expert for Mexico Operations and Inventory, supporting system changes and enhancements.Respond to information requests from Finance and Controllership staff, including Ops Finance, Controller - NA, and the Chief Accounting Officer.Perfil buscadoBachelor's degree with an emphasis in accounting, required; Master's degree in Accounting and/or CPA preferred.10+ years of experience with a minimum of 5 years in manufacturing/cost/inventory accounting experience.Recent hands-on, working experience with an in-depth knowledge of SAP WP1 and OTC modules, preferably with S4/Hana version.Particularly good level of IT tools management (Advanced Excel, HPL Hyperion Planning).Excellent communication skills (written and oral) in English & Spanish.Proficient in understanding US GAAP and knowledge of SOX controls.The ability to effectively communicate complex technical matters to both accountants and non-accountants.Proven track record of Team Leadership and Development.Relentless commitment to optimization of processes (e.g., suggesting alternatives and more effective/efficient ways to work through processes).Solid track record of successful collaboration, communication, and influencing at the Senior Manager level within a multi-national corporation.Confident/Self Starter with a proactive approach to meeting challenges and overcoming obstacles by assuming full ownership.Results and Business Orientated with a focus on internal and external deadlines.Proven interpersonal skills to establish excellent working relationships with a wide variety of people at all levels.Proven track record of anticipating and leading change.Ability to balance multiple projects, set priorities, and manage others in a fast-paced and changing environment.Qué OfrecemosBenefits above the law.
