Their mission is to connect global consumers with unique, high-quality Icelandic goods through strong partnerships and ethical practices.DescripciónSupply Chain Management:Place product orders with suppliers in Iceland and handle all import-related procedures.Plan demand based on sales projections to ensure adequate product supply.Ensure products are available in warehouses to meet customer needs.Logistics and Warehousing:Manage two warehouses located in the U.S., overseeing an 8-SKU portfolio.Identify and evaluate new warehouse locations with better logistical conditions and proximity to customers.Supplier Relations:Manage logistics providers to optimize costs and delivery times.Supervise and streamline packaging and distribution processes.Leadership:Supervise and coordinate a team of two direct reports.Collaborate closely with the IT team to control inventory and automate key processes.Communication and Reporting:Report directly to the Import Manager and collaborate closely with the Sales department.In the future, this position will evolve to report to an Operations Director.Market and Customers:Support sales strategies for retail clients in Mexico and markets across the Americas.Perfil buscadoAcademic Background:Bachelor's degree in Materials Engineering, Industrial Engineering, Logistics, or a related field.Advanced / Native English.Experience:3+ years of experience as Manager or Coordinator.7+ years of experience in Supply Chain, logistics, and import/export.Technical Skills:Advanced/native English proficiency (mandatory).Proficiency in logistics planning tools and inventory management software.Knowledge of import/export regulations and trade agreements.Soft Skills:Leadership and team management.Problem-solving and decision-making abilities.Results-oriented with a focus on continuous improvement.Additional Requirements:Valid visa.Travel availability.Qué OfrecemosSuperior legal benefits + bonus.Strategic position with direct impact on company growth.Hybrid work model with flexibility for in-office and remote activities.
