Job Purpose This is an exciting opportunity for a passionate/motivated individual to work closely with the Schneider Power Systems and Prosumer Leadership Team to support company ambitions, strategic priorities, and growth plans through the New Energy Landscape Group. The Prosumer Solution Architect will be part of the Prosumer Team. The position should be responsible for becoming the technical promoter of the offer inside the organization. The role will also support in designing Microgrids based on customer inputs and the use of tools for this purpose. The position requires some site travel to gather data and should interact directly with customers in technical and commercial presentations to collect the proper information and support the technical solution. The ideal candidate will have proven experience in Microgrids, Network and Power Distribution Systems, with a special focus on customer consultative advising and interdepartmental collaboration.
Duties and Responsibilities The Microgrid Solution Architect will open local capabilities to interact with customers transitioning to the New Energy Landscape. Responsibilities include detailed engineering analysis of energy schemes and possible Microgrid configurations to optimize customer assets. The Microgrid Solution Architect will develop skills and offers related to customer transitions to DERs management.
The Microgrid Solution Architect will report to the Power Systems Unit and must work together with the most related Business Units (Secure Power, Services, Industry) to develop the right offers and skills for all the Business Units interacting in this transition to the New Energy Landscape. Key elements of the mandate include but are not limited to:
Develop the BUs sales teams to become extensions of sales for Microgrids together with partners.Design and improve standardized Microgrid configurations with multiple BU stakeholders.Interact with the Microgrid Competency Center in the USA to get engineering support and benchmarking.Deploy local competencies on the team related to Microgrid analysis and drivers.Assist and communicate with the leadership team on decision-making for Go/NO Go gates.Improve current processes and coordinate organizational procedures for optimized efficiency and productivity.Develop tools to optimize processes.Support customer technical concerns.Support the Tender Team and the Execution Team during the project lifecycle.Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Electric Engineering or related field. >5 years of experience in the field.Moderate experience in renewable sources (Solar, Hydro, Wind).Knowledge in Python or high-level programming language and office packages (For Solution Architect).Proven knowledge in Power Systems configuration, protection, and design.Ability to work cross-functionally with multiple stakeholders inside the organization.Good knowledge of Schneider's vision and business.Self-motivated, positive, proactive, and takes the initiative to get things done.Able to work under pressure in an ambiguous environment; being a good strategist and able to prioritize helps.Advanced level of English (For Solution Architect).Effectively interact with senior-level management.Handle and maintain highly confidential and sensitive information.Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
