**Position Summary:**Essential Functions and Key Responsibilities**:- Hands-on development across entire.NET,.NET Core Azure technical stacks, includes but not limited to front-end, middle tier and back end development onC#, MVC,.Net 4.6,- (Web Services), WebAPI REST, Azure, OData, etc.- Ability to design and build REST web services on the.NET platform using JSON- Strong experience utilizing relational databases, e.G.
Azure SQL, SQL Server, and Oracle- Follows a disciplined Agile/Scrum software development process in task estimation, design, development, code reviews, unit/integration testing and defect fixing of products-- Documents new/modified code- Analyzes existing software to debug and troubleshoot escalated issues that may arise- Identifies and recommends software development process improvement initiatives- Assists in the technical analysis of potential tools and commercial products.
**Knowledge and Skills Required**:- Knowledge of Python scrips- Database design and development experience using Microsoft SQL Server- Experience designing and building REST web services on.Net- Proven analytical abilities applied to system design and software implementation- Experience utilizing JIRA Agile tools and working in an Agile environment.- Excellent communication, planning and organizational skills- Ability to work well in a team environment**Education, Training, Professional Certification and Work Experience:- 5+ years' experience as a developer with Microsoft technologies in a complex, multi-platform distributed environment- 5+ years experience with.NET/C# development and the technology stack, e.G., C#,.NET Core, REST API, WebAPI and MVC- 3+ years' experience utilizing relational databases, SQL.- 3+ years experience programming in Python- 3+ years experience with JSON- 2+ years experience with Azure platform leveraging Azure IaaS and Azure DevOps
