Kiewit Mexico is a company dedicated to providing engineering, procurement, and construction management services.Kiewit Mexico is a subsidiary of one of the largest and most respected engineering and construction organizations in North America.Kiewit Mexico offers construction management and engineering services in a variety of markets, including energy, oil, gas, chemicals, terminals, marine works, and mining As a Kiewit Electrical Designer, you will work alongside our construction and engineering professionals on a wide range of projects in various industries, including transportation, oil, gas and chemical, power, building, water/wastewater, industrial, and mining.Responsibilities Reports project progression updates and/or issues to Lead Electrical Designers required.Utilize applicable engineering national and local codes.Gathers information needed to develop design and verify voltage separation requirements are met.Develop schematics and on-line drawings from engineering sketches or mark-ups.Model electrical components using vendor submittals and electrical designs.Creates plan drawings and details for electrical deliverables.Able to design duct bank, embedded conduit, cable tray, grounding, lightning and lighting systems from concept to completion utilizing engineering documents.Develops 3D models utilizing drawings, sketches, and designs skills.Requirements Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering is a plus or experience in related field is valid 5-15 year minimum relevant experience.Familiar with computer operation and should have the ability to use electrical department design software programs (Autocad, Revit, Navis works, Microstation, SmartPlant 3D, SmartPlat Electrical, visual) Familiar with all applicable standards (ANSI, IEEE, IEC, UL, NEC, CFE, etc.Familiarity with specification requirements and electrical installation details of construction material lists and equipment.Knowledge and application of current version of the NOM-001-SEDE-2012.Be able to develop deliverables such as; power distribution drawings (above ground and underground), cable tray, one lines, schematics, grounding drawings.Understanding of the interaction of other disciplines such as Civil, structural, instrumentation etc.Benefits Vacation days, Christmas bonus, and vacation bonus above the law standard Savings fund Food vouchers Social security Health Care Plan (Medical, Dental & Vision) Life Insurance Paid Time Off (Vacation & Public Holidays) Training & development Wellness Resources (Medical appointments at a preferential price and discounts in drugstores and stores)
