Overview: GEM is looking for gifted teachers who are passionate about sharing their faith inside and outside of the classroom! Our gospel-saturated schools are unique in that we take each aspect of school, and we seek to infuse each aspect with the gospel.
The Cornerstone School is located in the beautiful coastal town of Huatulco in Oaxaca, Mexico. Huatulco is home to around 50,000 people, and is a safe city with a slower pace of life. It is a small beach town, and it is rich in local culture. The Cornerstone School offers a unique, pre-K through 6th grade private, gospel-saturated education. Students come from middle and lower class families, and for many, this is their only option to receive a private Christian education. The Cornerstone school uses Mexican-based standards designed to meet the needs of the students and their families and prepare them for continued education in the Mexican school system.
Job Objective: As a Missionary English Teacher, you will be able to leverage your life in a really impactful and meaningful way, as you make a difference in the lives of each of your students! You will have the opportunity to serve the Lord while pouring out your life in your English language classroom! You will create and maintain a positive learning environment within the classroom, supporting each student academically, spiritually, emotionally, and socially. Most importantly, each teacher is also a missionary, using their skills as a teacher to plant seeds of the gospel of Jesus Christ each day.

The fundraising goal is $18,000 per year, and the starting annual salary is $13,200 (USD). Our team will provide fundraising training before fundraising begins.
