As a part of our rapid growth in the industry, we are expanding our capabilities to provide industry leading product design services and capabilities to our Digital Product Organization (DPO).The Mobile Design Lead understands how organizational directives can roadblock good user experience and yet know how to articulate the cost efficiency of design in the development lifecycle in order to drive design driven solutions across the company. They are passionate about design not simply being a collection of colors but evangelize how even the technologies and micro interactions of a product experience are part of the brand. They have extensive experience consuming analytical data from multiple sources and maintaining up to date archetypes, personas and a user data repository that fuels the solutions for our customers.This position reports to the Director, Design Systems position. The Mobile Design Lead will work with UX Research teammates to build a research roadmap that ensures the user experiences are validated and tested by users before, during, and after the product release.Core responsibilities:- Lead the experience strategy and design execution for the product.- Critical understanding of best practices for mobile design and functionality- Be able to multi-task and meet deadlines in a fast paced, independent environment- Be self directed, self motivated, organized and disciplined- Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work effectively with others in and across the organization to accomplish team goals- Knowledge of key issues and current developments in the pharmaceutical and healthcare industries is desirable but not required- Collaborate with the Design Director to establish creative design guidance, and consistent UI/UX across the design system- Mentor and coach junior designers assigned to the team, coordinating and assigning work on deliverables.- Work collaboratively with product owner to prioritize, design, and backlog design requests.- Use a wide variety of user research techniques from concept to implementation to understand mental models, user needs, and patterns of behavior to test assumptions, inform the design and influence prioritization.- Drive and ensure consistency and adherence to the design system standards.- Continually evaluate the design processes, trends, and industry best practices resulting in products end users love to use and put forward business cases and proposals to support these initiatives.- Resolve conflicting end-user requirements through user research and testing.- A self-starter with the ability to prioritize and shift focus with ease and flexibility- Help cultivate a collaborative environment
