**The Role**
**What will I be doing?
**
- Research and development new POS devices according to product requirements.
- Develop software for those POS devices as is established in the purpose of the job.
- Ensure security of all payment transactions, based on the best practices of development and in accordance with mandatory requirements.
(PCI, LACPI and others).
- Support merchants with production issues.
- Develop new payment features.
- Help other areas involved in the payment process to comply with the mandatory requirements.
- Remote device troubleshooting, management and monitoring.
- B.S.
Computer Science or equivalent experience.
- 2+ years experience developing software for any POS device.
(Any language or OS).
- 2+ years experience with EMV Standard.
(EMV Books)
- 2+ years experience with POS certifications (LACPI, AMEX, or others).
- 2+ years of experience with Android software development Java or Kotlin.
(Strongly recommended).
- 1+ years of experience Unix OS.
- Proficient knowledge of EMV standard (ICC and Contactless).
- Proficient knowledge of payment transaction flows and rules.
- Knowledge of mandatory requirements (LACPI, VISA, MASTERCARD, AMEX).
- Experience using Analysis and Certification tools and interpreting logs.
- Knowledge of ISO 8583 standard for banking transactions.
- Experience developing software for POS devices.
- Knowledge of Android and Kotlin.
- Knowledge of git.
- Excellent problem solving, critical thinking and communication skills.
- Strong desire to learn and grow.
