We are looking for a Molding Engineer to join our Reynosa, Mexico Team
**How You'll Help Us Connect the World**:
It is responsible for evaluating the injection molds and machinery in the molding area, it is responsible for making samples or pilot runs of all the molds in the different machines, carrying out the processes to manufacture the products that meet the specifications and requirements of Engineering and Quality at the right cost.
- Coordination of pilot runs or evaluation of new processes or products.
- Validation of molding processes implementing scientific molding techniques.
- Solve molding process problems and material or equipment problems.
- Collect and analyze data on individual processes to identify and improve process capability.
- Participate in the selection of machinery and equipment for the molding area.
- Program robots and peripheral equipment.
- Responsible for the engineering documentation of the process.
- Responsible for carrying out cycle time studies and resolving most appropriate tonnage for each mold on each machine.
- Makes reports on damage and repairs to molds in the molding area and/or tool room.
- Participate in continuous improvement projects.
- Coordinates the implementation of operational excellence projects with "Lean Manufacturing" and 6 sigma techniques.
- Ensure that processes meet Quality specifications and requirements. Compliance with TL9000 procedures and instructions.
- Ensures that processes comply with safety rules. Helping to eliminate unsafe conditions detected.
- Preparation of reports and project presentations.
- Participate in 5S and safety activities.
- This position/function must be responsible for understanding and following the requirements of the Safety, Health and Environment management system, its Policy, applicable standards and procedures.
- Have basic knowledge of ergonomics, risk analysis and environmental aspects.
**Required Qualifications for Consideration**:
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering related area.
- 3-5 years of related experience with Mold Making and Molding.
- Good time management skills.
- Proficient in English language (written and spoken).
- Willing to work optimally and consistently with diverse work teams or peers in other departments.
- Knowledge of MS Office.
- Skills review against the ETL guide. (Problem Solving, Impact on the Result, Improvement/Innovation, Institutional Knowledge, achievement of results, Communication and Leadership).
- Knowledge of Quality System concepts and EHS Management System.

- AutoCAD is desirable.
- Knowledge of manufacturing processes, 6 sigma, Lean Manufacturing, project management is desirable.
