In 2021, Littelfuse had net sales of $2.1 billion.Reporting to the Manufacturing leader, you as a Molding Process Engineer will be responsible for to assure that fabricated products Quality assurance, meet specification of the products, make sure all equipment is working properly.About the job:- Develops continuous improvement strategies to support company objectives. Provides solutions to reduce cycle times while ensuring product quality.- Elaboration of documents that facilitate the procedure of elaboration of the product (chart of process, visual aids, work instructions, operation manuals).- Support to production lines.- Works with the Engineering Manager, Production Manager, Engineers and those assigned to the support area, to generate and follow up on new Business opportunities.- Establishes recommendations for changes and updates of new products.- Determines what activities are required to improve the production of products.- Analyze, solve the defects of the injection molding process.- Investigate the root cause of customer complaints and submit corrective / preventive actions to prevent recurrence.- Elaboration of internal deviations / or changes in the process (PCN's) when necessary.- Carry out any other activity that your position requires or that is assigned by your immediate supervisor.- Participate in training, meetings and audits assigned to you.- Builds and maintains a strong relationship across departments.- Location: Piedras Negras, Coahuila.About you:- Minimum of 2 years of experience as a process engineer.- Bachelor or university degree in Engineering /Mechanical, Electrical, Mechatronic, Industrial Engineer.- Knowledge of scientific molding methodology.- Experience in handling hydraulic injection machines.- Management in peripheral equipment (thermoregulators, temperature controllers, dryers, gravimetric mixers, etc.)-- Knowledge of computer packages for problem solving.- Knowledge of project management and administration.- Knowledge of lean manufacturing techniques, basic knowledge of the Six Sigma methodology.- Experience in managing engineering changes (ECO's)
