Enhancing the technical development of the processes in the Molding department.
Preventative maintenance/repair on machines, injection molding screw assemblies, molds.
Collaborate with Engineering to enhance and debug processes, tooling, and new / transfer products.
Mold verification, sample process development, mold changes, and set-ups.
Molding process and equipment optimization, using scientific molding principles.
Problem analysis and resolution.
Drive process improvements (i.E.
set-up time reduction, scrap reduction) and increased throughputs.
Process troubleshooting on injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
Process observation, development, and documentation.
Work closely with, and communicate with, all other production and support teams.Responsible for start-up, process verification, troubleshooting and root cause analysis of any issues related to injectionmolding processes or the associated equipment.Documents and communicates with other Process Technicians, Process Engineers and Shift Supervisor results of problemsolving and any deviations from established methods or procedures that may be necessary to resolve specific issues.
Supports Process Engineers in development of process parameters and process improvements.Analyze operations for possible improvements in methods, procedures, or design.
Recommend such improvements to the ME.
Run all DOEs and launch samples.Maintains and verifies all required documentation, including but not limited to maintenance records, machines logs, machine / equipment manuals and production history files.Sets-up, maintains and troubleshoots injection molding machines and auxiliary equipment.
