Molding Technician

Job Title: Molding Technician Location: Tijuana, Mexico Type: Contract (with potential for hire after 3 months to Full Time)
Job Description: We are seeking a skilled Molding Technician to join our team.
The ideal candidate will have experience in plastic injection molding processes and will be responsible for ensuring the efficient operation of molding machines and related equipment.
Key Responsibilities: Set up and operate plastic injection molding machines. Perform mold changes, troubleshooting, and adjustments as needed. Conduct routine maintenance and repairs on molding equipment. Monitor production processes to ensure quality standards are met. Collaborate with engineering and production teams to optimize molding processes. Train and mentor production staff on molding techniques and best practices. Adhere to safety protocols and regulations at all times. Requirements: High school diploma or equivalent; technical degree or certification preferred. Minimum of 2+ years of experience in plastic injection molding. Proficiency in setting up and operating molding machines. Strong mechanical aptitude and troubleshooting skills. Ability to work independently and as part of a team. Willingness to travel to the Tijuana, Mexico site. Bilingual proficiency in English and Spanish is a plus.
