We are searching for a highly motivated and experienced MPL& Engineer to join our team at Ford Cuautitlán Stamping & Assembly Plant. In this role, you will be responsible for standards and procedures compliance, providing direction and leadership, and prioritizing the activities of the MP&L Launch.ResponsibilitiesEssential Duties and Responsibilities:Standards and Procedures Compliance: Based in GPDS and LQOS.Design and Development: Develop a plant synchronous material flow strategy that eliminates waste. Develop a plan for racks and dunnage with the Staff MP&L Engineers. Coordinate and resolve all racks and dunnage issues with Staff MP&L. Identify and resolve line side part complexity and part presentation issues. Develop and implement a plan to kit and feed the new model parts to the point of use for each pre-production build.Communication: Assist the MP&L Leader in completing all of his/her tasks on time. Review recommended MPL process changes with the staff engineers.Safety and Compliance: Ensure that the plan for every part (PFEP) database is updated to the latest part levels.Project Management: Identify and resolve all stock, floor space, location, and manpower requirements. Evaluate, plan, and procure all hand and power material handling equipment.Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for improvement with the Workstation Readiness Standard.Collaboration: Work effectively with cross-functional teams, including production, maintenance, and quality assurance personnel.Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date documentation required for (GIS).QualificationsQualifications:Bachelor's degree in Industrial Engineering or a related field.Minimum of 1-3 years of experience in manufacturing process, preferably in the automotive industry.
