Description Developing and implementing purchasing strategies for MRO (Maintenance, Repair, and Operations) goods. Negotiating contracts with suppliers to ensure the best cost and quality. Managing supplier relationships and maintaining a supplier database. Analyzing market and delivery systems to assess present and future material availability. Coordinating with the supply chain department to ensure on-time delivery of goods. Preparing and managing MRO budget. Ensuring compliance with procurement policies and procedures. Creating and presenting procurement reports to the senior management. Profile A successful 'MRO Buyer' should have:
A degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field. Proven record in procurement or a similar role within the Industrial / Manufacturing industry. Strong negotiation and supplier management skills. Outstanding knowledge of purchasing strategies and inventory management. Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. Strong communication and presentation skills.
