The Manager Sourcing - MRO will develop the MRO sourcing strategy for Torreon Location, in coordination with the Regional Category Manager(s) to create a project list and coordinate its correct execution.Job DescriptionThe ability to understand the factory needs is important as well as being in control of the cost structure to make decisions based on Total Cost of Ownership.
The goal is to have localized purchased components/services with the right quality, price, on-time delivery, minimal tooling investment, needed MOQs by the Factory, and approved payment terms policy.Duties & ResponsibilitiesDevelop and execute cross-functionally aligned sourcing strategies & project implementation for MRO Category.Negotiate and manage complex business agreements and contracts, both domestic and international.Prepare and execute RFP/RFQs and analyze quotations and bids.
Conduct, analyze, and share cost breakdown analysis for negotiations.Ability to coordinate with the Regional Category Managers to develop the MRO Sourcing MX strategy including supplier selection and scope definition.Development of full Spend Analysis within its category; where and to whom do webuy components, what projects are running and its impact in the future related spend.
Understanding of MOQs, Lead times, and Cash Flow for negotiations to improve operations results.Knowledge of the MRO Market both Globally and Regionally; as well as market trends and suppliers located in the region.Tools You Must Bring With YouBachelor's degree in Engineering, Business or related field.At least 5 years experience in a similar role in MRO commodity (Facilities, Services, Indirect equipment, etc.)
in a National and International environment, covering different commodities of Service/PO processing.Negotiation skills course/certification is preferred (KARRASS).TS/ISO Training is preferred.Master's Degree is preferred.Experience on Service Providers, such as Cleaning Services, Security, Manufacturing equipment acquisition, CAPEX, consumables.Project Management certification is desired.Experience developing Service Sourcing Strategies meeting business needs; Mexico Localization programs is a must.Outstanding interpersonal, verbal, written, and presentation skills in both Spanish and English are required.Ability to work with cross-functional stakeholders such as Project Leader, Engineer, Finance, NPD, Quality, Materials & Suppliers.Strong negotiating skills and demonstrate proven success negotiating, implementing, and managing complex supply contracts.Willingness to travel domestically and/or globally (up to 50%).Candidate must have the ability to adapt quickly.Results driven.Advanced English.Please send resume in English.#J-18808-Ljbffr
