.The MTC Site Manager is responsible to ensure that the site, its systems and facilities are at their outmost condition to allow the segments and corporate areas present at the site to perform at their best, as well as setting and developing the conditions required to maintain the MTC as a key player of Aptiv strategy, while making it the right choice for continuous growth.He/she is the face/host of the site to external visitors, such as executives, customers, industry, education and government representatives among others, coordinating the local leaders of all the segments/corporate areas to showcase their activities, responsibilities and accomplishments with the respective local, regional and global impact of the site.Works closely with the site HR manager and Facilities manager to create, develop and maintain the environments (human, physical, technical) so all and each employee can fulfill and excel on his/her responsibilities.The Rapid Prototyping General Supervisor, Shipping & Receiving General Supervisor, Calibration Lab Supervisor, Tool Crib Supervisor and Procurement Coordinator report directly to this position.
The Site Manager will report to the TBD.
Other functional indirect reports to the Site Manager position include the EH&SS Supervisor and Facilities Manager.
**Key metrics include**:- MTC site budget compliance- Personnel Safety- Environmental and legal compliance- Performance on direct areas- IMCIP Savings- Sales/Purchases to BorgWarner (TSA)- Achieve ISO 50001 certification**Other areas of responsibility include**:- Maintain IATF 16949 compliance for Corporate Areas impacting the QMS (HR, SCM, Plant Eng), and EOS compliance for other areas (Finance, GTC, Security, Corp Communications, etc).- Along with Facilities Manager develop, implement and monitor CAPEX projects required to maintain and improve the site- Work closely with segments/corporate functions leaders (Steering Council) to drive consistent implementation of corporate directions.- Ensure ISO 17025 A2LA accreditation is maintained in Calibration Lab- Hire, develop and retain an staff capable of achieving strategic and annual objectives- Resolve problems effectively, to make sound business decisions and exercise good judgment- Provide effective leadership and direction to management and professional level associates and demonstrate high ethical standards; - Develop and control site budget and to approve expenditures and to understand and evaluate financial data and reports; - Coordinate and recommend cost savings and efficiency ideas; - Effectively communicate and interact with people at all levels and from all segments and corporate functions**Must Haves (Basic Qualifications)**:- Bachelor degree in engineering, management, finance, or other technical discipline.- Strong track record as a leader including team leadership, people development,- He/she should be capable of developing an effective vision for the site that can facilitate growth and continued expansion
