Ensures plant compliance with local regulations, GAAP accounting principles and Corning policies and procedures.Description:- Assists the Finance Entity Managerr with the monthly financial closing, analysis of actual results, internal reporting and short:Term and long:Term forecasting.- Responsible for managing the period closing process; including preparation and posting of vouchers, ensuring accuracy of the general ledger, entity compliance with local regulations, GAAP accounting principles and Corning policies and procedures, on a timely basis.- Responsible for preparation of quarterly SEC reporting package and account reconciliations- Assists the controller in the development and maintenance of planning budgeting systems, preparationof financial and management reports, procedures, and presentation ofPerforms complex, undefined ad hoc financial analyses and assigned requests from senior management leveraging a deep understanding of financial responsibilities within an assigned business unit- Monitors spending and works with department managers to control costs. Researches and provides detail on expense variances.- Drives finance process improvement.- Provides financial analysis related to capital projects, cost reduction, and other initiatives as required- Executes and supports in statutory reporting and Sarbanes Oxley compliance, internal and external controls- Prepare financial presentations for Plant Leadership.- Validate financial results within Plant and confirm to Division.- Prepare daily, weekly, monthly financial reports for Plant operations, Plant staff, and Division leadership.- Manages Capital Spending, Inventory, and Fixed Assets:Overview the Mexican payroll and taxes compliance:Responsible for the Mexican Statutory audit:Overview Import/Export Mexican regulatory complianceMinimum Qualifications:- Bachelor's degree Accounting/Finance.- 5:7 years financial accounting and preferably manufacturing Importante empresa- MBA/CPA preferredSkills/Importante empresa:- Strong technical skills; proficiency in Excel / PowerPoint- Importante empresa with Financial ERP and reporting systems (PeopleSoft, SAP, Oracle etc.)- Cost accounting Importante empresa- Sarbanes:Oxley knowledge and documentation- Ability to analyze and interpret data and link to business implications- Problem solving capability- Good presentation skills- Bilingual Spanish:EnglishPay Grade:Grade DEmployee Referral Amount:0.00
