.DescriptionAbout this roleWhat team will you be on?The Multi-Asset Strategies & Solutions (MASS) team is the investment group at the heart of BlackRock's portfolio construction, asset allocation, and active management ecosystem. MASS draws on the full toolkit of BlackRock's index, factor, and alpha-seeking investment capabilities to deliver precise investment outcomes and cutting-edge alpha insights. MASS constructs active asset allocation strategies and whole portfolio solutions across a wide spectrum of commingled funds, separate accounts, model portfolios, and outsourcing solutions in the wealth and institutional channels.Why is your role important?We are seeking for an Associate to support the growth of our business in Latin America (specifically our Offshore Wealth, Central and South America businesses), spanning both retail and institutional clients. We are seeking someone who is curious, empathetic, and passionate with strong personal ownership for the work plus an aspiration to constantly learn and challenge the status quo.**Responsibilities**:- Business development for MASS' business in Latin America by helping drive sales through more technical investment topics and data and support day-to-day client and sales requests. Drive support to achieve our targets. This spans across multiple investment and distribution teams- Create presentations and materials at in a wide range of formats (language translations may be included)- Translate several Portfolio Management views and research into clear documents, using well written text and supporting data to help convert clients and advisors - into engaged, educated and confident users of BlackRock's strategies. Articulate and communicate our investment narrative to clients. The role will also serve as liaison between several MASS investment teams and the sales teams in Latin America, while at the same time partnering with other internal functions across the globe- Perform analytical and reporting work to support sales and investments teams including creation of presentations, one-pagers, fact sheets, and content for completion of RFPs- Own periodic knowledge transfer with current and future Latin American clients. Drive knowledge transfer through client calls, webinars, in-person visits, market commentaries, podcasts, and research papers.- Strong technical skills are a must; background in macroeconomics, capital markets, equity or fixed income research, statistics, econometrics, or other technical disciplines desired- Good understanding of financial markets and drivers of valuation and returns on major asset classes. Multi-Asset team experience is a plus- Partner with LatAm distribution partners to design and drive a broad client investment education programWhat are we looking for?- BA/BS required
