Job TitleMulti-Channel ManagerPosition PurposeThe multi-channel merchandising Manager is responsible for leading, setup plan strategy, develop processes, engage merchandising CMs and supporting areas, for the team that looks, finds, negotiate, validate and setup vendors to fill out missing SKUs due to NYA, multi-sourcing, leverage current vendors opportunities, grows product / brand offering, and others under Duralast or any other brand.Primary Accountabilities- Develop multi-channel strategy, and plan.
Lead multi- channel team to collaborate with Sr CMs and Global Sourcing Manager in defining product opportunities to be looked for.- Negotiate cost and agreement conditions and collaborates with Quality to validate factories and products.
Identify vendors to supply NYAs, Brand Choice, set up VA and Create Items.
Source alternative vendors for programs with Fill rates and lead time issues, requested by Sr CMs.- Lead team to Implement multi-channel strategy sourcing vendors to fill out opportunities, setting up new vendors and products (item set up and Maintenance).- Track results provided by the initiative and report to Directs.
Track added vendors and product performance.- Make strategic multi-channel recommendations for CM to be included at Line Reviews.
Collaborate with Sr CMs to identify VDP/Ecommerce product opportunities, to provide options to CMs.- Performs key project management duties as assigned.- Performs and completes analytical data as necessary.Education & ExperienceLevel of Formal Education: A Bachelor's degree (BA, BS) or equivalent.Area of Study: Merchandising, Business, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Administration or engineering preferredYears of Experience: Five to seven years.Type of Experience: Sourcing experience.Special Certifications or Technical Skills: Retail, Merchandising, negotiation experience.
