Multi-Media Account Executive-Victoria Tx

The Victoria Television Group is looking for Account Executives to manage and grow the transactional business as well as focusing on prospecting and closing new business in the Victoria Texas television market. We are looking for a self-starter with proficiency in cold calling and creating and delivering presentations.
Duties include but are not limited to: Develop and maintain relationships with agencies to achieve monthly goalsClose new and incremental businessUnderstand and interpret business objectives, client needs, and advertising strategies in order to help them achieve their goals through effective use of our multi-station portfolio and digital products.Prepare, schedule and deliver sales presentationsQualifications/Requirements: Must be willing to work near the Gulf Coast in the Victoria Texas DMAProficient in the operation of a computer keyboardProficient in Microsoft Outlook, PowerPoint, Word, and ExcelGood driving recordTelevision sales experience is preferred but not required. We will train an excellent candidate.Bachelor's degree in advertising or marketing is preferred but not requiredSkills and Abilities: Strong communication skillsExcellent negotiation and customer service skillsTeam player, who is flexible to changing needs of day to day businessAbility to work in a rapid-paced environmentThe Victoria Television Group is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
