Something bold.Are you looking for a place where you will have a role in shaping an industry?The MX Analytics Engineer will build out reports and visualizations using data marts, engage with Business Stakeholders to gather requirements and determine reporting needs, assist with ad hoc requests & data pulls, collaborate with team members to complete tasks. They will assist in building out the MX data warehouse and provide functional leadership with data to aide decision making. They must be well organized, flexible, and able to communicate effectively with all levels of the organization.Essential Functions:- Build reports using tools such as Tableau and SSRS for analytical purposes- Contribute to the design of queries to create data sources according to business needs- Develop knowledge and skillset needed to implement data integration & transformation tools- Provide Support and Training to Business Stakeholders on Data Engineering and Analytics Offerings- Operate with an investigative mindset to identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets- Assist with ad-hoc data requests & data pulls for business stakeholders across MX functions- Troubleshoot and pinpoint root causes for discrepancies to work towards data accuracy and consistency- Participate in meetings and communications with all Departments of Coyote cross functionally- Collaborate with team members on Tasks - Clarify/Define Business Requirements- Work closely with team members to analyze and validate report outputs- Capacity to develop an understanding of the Coyote business and Logistic/Transportation Industry knowledge- Implement and maintain Data Catalog and Documentation- Provide key stakeholders with data and insights to guide business strategy and activitiesCompetencies:All Coyotes are expected to execute on their responsibilities, be accountable for their actions, communicate effectively, and show integrity in their work.Required Experience:- 6+ Months Experience in a Modern Data Team Role- Exposure to Data Modeling and designing data sources for reporting needs- Ability to write SQL statements and exposure to Analytics Engineering visualization reporting tools- Proven analytical & problem-solving skills- Excellent written and verbal communication skills- Excellent organizational & time management skills with strong attention to detail- Highly independent and motivated with the ability to work in a team environment as well.Preferred Skills & Education:- Proficiency in writing and speaking English and Spanish- Bachelor's Degree or Bootcamp in information technology, Computer Science, or similar area- Experience using Cloud Offerings (Azure, AWS, GCP)- Experience using Relational Databases (SQL Server, Postgres, MySQL)- Experience using tools such as Tableau, SSIS, Python, SSRS, Power BI, etc
