Something bold.Are you looking for a place where you will have a role in shaping an industry?As a Mexico Customer Operations Coordinator at Coyote, you will focus on the customer service aspect of our business; helping customers move their inventory in the most cost-effective way by identifying and providing logistics solutions, specifically on all movements that touch Mexico. As you start your operations career with Coyote, you will work as a team to effectively operate a portfolio of accounts with both Cross-border and Intra-MX volumes through constant communication with customer and customs contacts. These conversations include, but are not limited to, determining routing guide compliance, coordinating customs documentation generation, negotiating spot rates based on market trends, and identifying and resolving issues. Additional business is generated through proper execution of commitments and prompt solutions to a variety of customer freight concerns, all while upholding Coyote's No Excuses® commitment to service. The Operations Coordinator role is just the beginning of your career at Coyote. After completing our comprehensive training program, you will have the opportunity to grow within operations and the department as whole.Daily Tasks & Responsibilities (include, but not limited to):- Develop strong relationships with all customer contacts, customers brokers, and facilities- Accept, build, and schedule all customer shipments, including all pertinent information and documentation- Manage daily load board and take responsibility for ensuring that loads are serviced properly- Build and maintain respectful relationships with carrier department- Ensure loads are tracked and updated in timely manner- Identify and communicate (potential) problems to the appropriate parties and provide solutions- Prioritize and respond to both internal and external requests in a timely, effective, and professional manner- Update and resolve incidents regularly; manage accessorials objectively while maximizing profit- Understand commitments, policies, contracted rates, accessorial schedules, fuel schedules, vendor agreements, KPI's and challenges for each account- Serve as Mexico freight experts and educate both internal and external parties on cross-border operations.Essential Skills, Characteristics, & Experience:- Fluent in English- Entry-level position- Strong work ethic- Ability to multi task and prioritize at a high level- Effective communication- Confident decision-making skills- Strong ability to develop relationships- Work well independently and as part of a team- Customer service or operations experience preferred- Bachelor's degree desiredWhy Coyote?- Onsite training and ongoing career development.- Competitive pay.- Comprehensive benefits package.- Internal advancement opportunities for high performers.- Global opportunities.- Casual dress & many perks
