Develop plan based on exposure, frequency, severity and historical data.This includes assessing exposures, analyzing trends and data, facilitating overall and team safety goaldevelopment.Also responsible for establishing program and individual accountability measurements.Ensure that associates have the proper training as required by law as well as education on safe work practices,proper personal protection including but not limited to orientation of new associates and organizing anddirecting training of safety committees. This includes working with safety action teams in the facilityto ensure implementation of the overall safety program.Responsible for coordinating environmental report completion with outside counsel (air, water, hazardous waste, etc.).Conduct audits& inspections to ensure safety practices and procedures are being adhered to as they relateto associate actions, machinery and equipment and building and grounds and to recommend corrective actionwhere deficiencies are found.Assume leadership of investigation and analysis of cause and effect of accidents, injuries, illnesses, propertydamage and near misses, communicating findings to management and associates as appropriate to ensurepreventative measures are taken
