.OVERVIEW**This position is for Weekends only (Friday afternoon, Saturday, and Sunday)**We're looking for a reliable remote Customer Service Assistant that can work with hotels over the phone to describe what the customer is requesting and help guide hotels through the coordination. You will be needed to join the team helping on the phones during the week, to call hotels with scheduled rooms to be decorated on weekend mornings to ensure any questions are answered, and to call in evenings to confirm decorations were completed.RESPONSIBILITIESWeekdays:1. Phone (90%)- Receive phone calls from customers wanting to order a package to decorate their hotel room, and answer their questions.- Offer to complete orders online for customers.- Work with and get confirmation from hotels to receive our packages and agree to decorate hotel rooms for anniversaries, birthdays, bridal suites, proposals, and bachelorette parties.- Call hotels on the scheduled set-up day to review directions and confirm the room is decorated correctly and on time: a) for all orders before 11 am ET (8 am PT) and b) again for evening set-up orders up to 10 pm PT.- Use company call center software to record calls.2. Quickbooks Online (5%)- Once set-up is confirmed, charge customer cards in Quickbooks Online.- Add commission as account payable in Quickbooks Online.3. Online Customer Relationship Management (5%)- Ensure our fulfillment company is clear on the items that need to be packaged and shipping times.- Verify packages will arrive on time.- Enter detailed memos in the online company Customer Relationship Management system for recording phone calls to improve our ability to work with hotels and customers.SKILLS & COMPETENCIES:- You're available weekends- You have worked in a call center or have telephone customer service experience- You speak and write American English very well- You want to grow with a growing company for years to come- You have the ability to follow a script- You have the ability to politely convince a hotel to accept a commission and decorate their hotel room for their guest- You will be able to understand the different hotel employee roles and who can do what for you- You were / are a good student in school- You do what you say you will do- You follow directions- You understand why the directions exist- You have used Skype- You have the following resources available: a) reliable electricity, b) reliable LAN connection for VoIP, c) unlimited (cellular) phone service, d) a headset, and e) a quiet location away from children, pets, and environmental noise to work.- Your English is average- You are only looking for short-term work- You're not a problem solver- You can't follow directionsRELATIONSHIPSCustomer Service Assistant will report to the company ownerPAY- Hourly.
