Position SummaryDevelop programs, processes, fixtures, and documents for the manufacture of parts for sterilizers. Their work should be focused on helping to fulfill the goals of safety, quality, delivery, and costs of the company and meeting the objectives specified in dates.
DutiesEstablish the optimum CNC/NC process with regard to machine selection, fixturing, and tooling.Determine the ideal speeds, feeds, inserts, and tooling to ensure manufacturing consistency.Support Tool Crib department reviewing the tools vendors pricing and availability of applications for CNC machine tools.Help manufacturing engineer in the accessories and the planning of new lines of products or product lines reviewed.Establishing and updating the programs and documents that apply in compliance with the requirements for the operating procedures of the company.Develop 2, 3, or 4 axes CNC machine tool programs.Recommend/establish a new CNC procedure to replace existing conventional methods.Maintain their equipment designated with the tool and programs necessary to work correctly.Develop at least one project savings.Meets goals of the workcell (SQDC).Meet the goals set at the beginning of the fiscal year (Bowlers).Education DegreeRequired ExperienceThree (3) to five (5) years CNC or NC Programming experience and up to four (4) axis machining experience.Experience with Pro-Engineer (Pro E) strongly preferred. Experience with NCell, Cycad, Mastercam, Espirit, Edgecam a plus.Experience in high-level languages and CAD/CAM applications.Demonstrated experience in writing macro programs and troubleshooting software.Experience in the implementation of new machines and special projects background.Programming experience in lathes and machining center Mazak, Haas, Hyundai. Programming Experience in Amada.Laser equipment and Cincinnati press brakes (Only for sheet metal programming area).Preferred ExperienceWide knowledge and experience pertaining to similar products is helpful, but not a necessity, if education and experience are of applicable nature.
