**Role Summary**:Program machine tools.Develop and maintain a plan to program machine tools off-line.Work with other plants to share best practices.Assist in driving safety through use of LEAN manufacturing and process improvementsDrive positive change through completion of Kaizens and Continuous ImprovementDevelop fixturing for both machining and assembly operations.Develop and utilize manufacturing documents and controls such as work instructionsSolve problems on the shop floor through use of verbal communication with shop employees on set ups and tooling.Utilize CIP tools to evaluate potential areas of process improvement and standardization across all parts Manufacturing areasEvaluate current manufacturing processes for standardization, quality improvement and efficiency**Preferred Experience / Skills**: Oracle ERP system knowledge highly recommendedUndergraduate degree in Manufacturing Engineering/Industrial Engineering/ Mechanical Engineering recommended.Knowledge of valves and rotating equipment preferred.Experience in LEAN manufacturing or Six Sigma or Continuous Improvement.Experience in 3D modelingConversational programmingG-Code programmingMacro programmingThis is your opportunity to learn more, do more, live the career you have imagined and be part of a truly diverse organization.Flowserve company is an Equal Opportunity Employer.
