**.Net Developer**The Global Actuarial Systems team is a small, agile group of technology enthusiasts. We are tasked with solving the complex data needs of both our US and International reserving actuaries. Our group is responsible for collating data from several disparate systems and platforms and providing analytic solutions for the world's largest publicly traded property and casualty insurer. Our systems are the foundation for the loss triangles which are reported externally, and which ensure we have the capital to pay future claims.**Responsibilities**- Develop and maintain ASP.Net Web Sites and Windows Services using Visual Studio- Conduct system testing and provide support during user acceptance testing- Deliver quality solutions on time and within budget, following SDLC best practices in the documentation of design specifications and unit test plans- Provide on-call production support monthly during the book-close period**Qualifications**- 4+ years ASP.Net Experience, including both Web Sites and Windows Services- Experience with MS SQL Server and/or Oracle is a plus- Experience with DevOps and GIT- Experience with Agile methodologies, prioritizing backlog, etc. a plus.- Capability to work on concerns raised by the customer- Enthusiastic about work and code quality- Extensive technical analysis and investigative capabilities- Excellent time management and problem-solving abilities- Learning mindset and team player- Comfortable interfacing with end users- Result/Solution-Oriented individual who can work/learn in a fast-paced environment
