Our products, present in a wide variety of fields, that contribute to improve the quality of life of millions of people.**Job Description**:- **Primary Duties and Accountabilities**- Analyze availability, access (user accounts and permissions at the LAN and WAN components), and complex performance issues as found during monitoring or as reported by customers. This includes on-call availability for 24x7 operation- Monitor network components (LAN and WAN) to ensure availability and also test backup, recovery and emergency procedures.- Install and configure mid-level network components (LAN and WAN) following the global concepts. This includes high availability implementations and complex installsParticipate in global and regional initiatives and self-checks such as security audits, change management, incident management, asset management, run and operation tasks.- Practice network (LAN and WAN) asset management, including maintenance of their component inventory and related documentation and technical specifications information.- Follow all service level agreements established with customers**Qualifications**:- High technical understanding LAN and WAN technologies, including multiple network operating systems (IOS, HP, OS), topologies (MPLS, Ethernet, Fiberoptics), protocols (TCP/IP, OPSF, BGP), and WAN (Routing, Firewalls, IPsec)- Working technical experience with installing, configuring, monitoring, troubleshooting, and supporting network components (LAN, WLAN and WAN environment)- Exposure/ knowledge in Production network support process desirable- Solid background in network administration and architecture- Professional certification (Cisco CCNA (preferred) - CCNP (is a Plus))- Experience with HP/Aruba switches is a plus- Knowledge of layer 1/2/3 including but not limited to Ethernet, Fiber Optics, 802.1Q, OSPF, HSRP, etc.- Fluent conversational English- Excellent written and oral communication skills- Analytical, conceptual, and problem-solving skills- Effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure environment- Working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment- Mentor team members on technical issues- Suggest improvements to network performance, capacity, and scalability- Ticketing systems experience desirableAdditional InformationBosch is constantly expanding its international presence, since for us cultural diversity represents one of our greatest strengths.
