The candidate should possess broad functional knowledge in his/her domain and technical knowledge in relevant network operations. You should have proven expertise in working within a team for network operational support and remediation activities. You will be responsible for network monitoring, troubleshooting, and break-fix incidents/changes, primarily on Cisco technologies, with additional load balancer, firewall, proxy, and wireless services.Requirements3-5 years of experience performing various network operations and troubleshooting tasks.3-5 years of experience configuring/administrating Cisco routers, Switches (Cisco/RUCKUS), Firewall (ASA/Check Point Software/Firepower), NetScaler load balancer, and Zscaler cloud-based proxy.At least 2 years of experience in the following technologies:LAN/switching: Cisco Catalyst series switches, Cisco VSS technology, Nexus switches, RUCKUS switchesRouting: policy-based routing, Intelligent WAN (iWAN) technology, Cisco SDWAN, handling Cisco, ISR/ASR routers, knowledge of dynamic routing protocols such as BGP, EIGRP/OSPFKnowledge of any troubleshooting tool like NetBrain or any other equivalent tool.Knowledge of any one NMS tool like SolarWinds.Experience on any of one log analysis tools like Splunk, Kiwi, or other equivalent.Excellent communication skills (written and verbal with excellent presentation skills).A minimum of a bachelor's degree.Nice to haveStrong knowledge of routing/Firewall devices from ISP environment.Working experience in scripting languages like Python, Perl, TCL, or any other language.Understanding of network automation, artificial intelligence, machine learning & neural networks.Good knowledge of incident management/change management/problem management processes.Knowledge of ticketing systems like Remedy and SNOW.CCNA(R/S or Security) certification and CCNP/CCSA/CCSE and ITIL certifications.Experience working in a globally distributed team.Ability to learn new technological trends/concepts
