Flo Networks is a leading provider of telecommunications services between the US and Mexico. We provide connectivity and managed services to Fortune 1000 companies, telecommunications, and cable companies over a fiber optic network that spans over 35,000 miles between both countries.We have an immediate need for an experienced **Network Engineer **for our Managed Services Team. This position can be based in **Ciudad Juarez or Mexico City, Mexico.****The Role**:**The Responsibilities**:- Provide support for the analysis, design, engineering, and implementation of innovative network solutions.- Work on complex problems and provide innovative solutions.- Manage and resolve customer fault, service outage and impairment events.- Overseeing the performance of day-to-day tasks to ensure network reliability, availability, and serviceability with mínimal interruption.- Support escalation of enterprise services (Internet, MPLS, sd-wan and managed security)- Collaborate with third-party support and service vendors to ensure that the network, security and sd-wan services stays operational.- Technology tests and platforms homologation.- Mentor team members on technical issues.- Audit and troubleshoot top customer services and work with Netops team to re-engineer designs and meet customer SLAs.- Create low level designs for connectivity and customer services.**Required skills**:- Bachelor's degree in Telecommunications, Computer Engineering or related field.- 5+ years' experience managing network infrastructure.- Extensive knowledge of network technologies (routing, switching, gateways, WAN, LAN, Wireshark, TCP/IP, OSPF, BPG, NAT, VPN, Firewalls, SSL, SSO)- Previous experience working with IP/MPLS based services: MPLS L3/L2 VPN, Metro Ethernet services.- Network traffic analysis and troubleshooting experience.- Possess exceptional customer service skills.- Multi-task during events.- Communicate effectively with managers, customers and vendors.- Solid understanding of L3 routing protocols (BGP, OSPF, ISIS)- Experience keeping device firmware/software upgraded and patched.- Experience with cloud networking in platforms such as Microsoft Azure, Amazon and Google Cloud.- Experience with networking hybrid environments (Cloud + On premise)- Experience with SD-WAN solutions- Strong relationship skills, demonstrated leadership and ability to take the initiative and make decisions independently.- Analytical and problem-solving skills.- Experience in monitoring platforms and protocols (SNMP, Netconf, GNMI)- CCNP or CCNA/JNCIA certifications - preferred.- MPLS-TP knowledge (Ciena MCP) - preferred.- Experience in tools and protocols for network issues troubleshooting (Wireshark, netflow, sflow, route views)- Experience with Juniper/Cisco/Arista routing platforms.- Bilingual - Fluent in English and Spanish.**Privacy notice**: Flo Networks does not use the personal information of job applicants for any purpose other than strictly the recruitment process.
