The Network Security Analyst will report directly to the Network Operations Supervisor and be responsible for the Security operations in the network security environment. As network security becomes an increasingly integral part of IT functions, a qualified Network Security Analyst will be leveraged to configure and maintain systems that protect Koch Industries from cyber security threats. Strong skills in the areas of Technical Implementation in Firewalls, Proxy, Reverse Proxy, effective communication, collaboration, customer focus, economic and critical thinking, project management, leadership, and value creation are required.
What You Will Do Total Experience – 4 to 8 years Responsible for Operations of our perimeter and Process Control Network security environments which include requests, Break and fix, troubleshooting, new setups, logging, and reporting on alerts. Good hands-on exposure on Fortinet firewall Policies and implementation. Good experience in handling P1\P2 for the enterprise networks. Good exposure in bringing improvements in the products in terms of identifying the issues and providing permanent fixes. Ensure Internet proxy and remote access services are stable and well maintained, including firmware upgrades, policy configuration, and auditing. Serve as a subject matter expert for Fortinet and Palo Alto capability and supporting operational issue resolution. You will be part of Global operations team for Security and network performing Operational tasks and on-call when required. Consult with other teams and internal customers on Operational related tasks. Apply strong communication, collaboration, and critical/economic thinking skills when working with customers and peer teams. Ensure security best practices are applied. Drive strategy and innovation that aligns to long-term business objectives. Become sufficiently knowledgeable in cross-functional tools and services. Must be willing to carry a company-provided smart phone, have home high-speed Internet capability, and participate in an on-call rotation. Operates, documents, and maintains security controls. Configuration, maintenance, optimization, the following systems: Firewalls (Palo Alto & FortiGate), (ZScaler)Proxy servers, reverse proxy, and other policy-based network security devices. Troubleshooting and implementation on the firewalls and proxies – Palo Alto, Fortinet. Who You Are (Basic Qualifications) Seasoned Engineer who is in either support of complex enterprise networks, or management of network & network security devices like firewalls, proxies, and IPS devices, ISE Ability to analyze network packet traces (PCAP), Fiddler Logs, Headers. Experience with automation/scripting/coding will be helpful for automation and analytics. Deep understanding of network security systems, intrusion detection systems and protocols like TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, AD, Static and Dynamic Routing, OSI Model etc. Good to have\Optional : Zscaler proxy and Cloud Flare What Will Put You Ahead One or more industry certifications such as:Network+, Security+,GSEC, PCNSE, NSE-3 and 4, CCNP Security Fortinet and Palo Alto firewall experience.
