Job Summary:
The Quality Assurance Team Lead I is responsible for overseeing the performance of the quality team by supervising quality control and quality assurance operations, resolving escalated issues, reporting to management, as well as coaching and guiding team members in order to support achievement of department quality and productivity standards.
Key Responsibilities:
- Oversees the performance of quality control and quality assurance related activities ensuring comprehensive analysis, reporting and compliance requirements are met
- Assists with and proactively leads communication with operational leadership in order to discuss trends, errors, and/or ad hoc requests as they arise
- Guides effectiveness of quality initiatives by communicating organizational policies and best practices, setting performance goals and providing constructive feedback
- Builds analytical processes for the monitoring of transactions within area of responsibility, producing innovative techniques for process improvement and collaborating with key stakeholders to promote and encourage the adoption of best practices
- Collaborates with internal and external stakeholders by ensuring third party audits are completed timely and accurately, understanding the needs and demands of stakeholders during the audit process, sharing knowledge and expertise and regularly communicating and reporting findings
- Develops and mentors team members by providing constructive feedback and direction to ensure a cohesive and effective approach to department leadership and guidance
- Manage resolution of system and technology errors by monitoring equipment functionality, identifying issues and quickly escalating to management and technical professionals to ensure continued and correct quality control equipment operations
- Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives by communicating with key stakeholders and participating in projects to support delivery of effective client and quality control and/or quality assurance programs
- Provides technical support to department by documenting quality control activities, following established guidelines and senior level directives and verifying factual information
- Supervises daily operations of team by coordinating and communicating employee tasks, measuring performance, and providing feedback to achieve high productivity and meet service level expectations

- Bachelor's degree
- 3 or more years of relevant experience
