Description
The HR Manager plans and administers policies relating to all phases of human resources activity by performing the following duties personally or through subordinate administrators.
Role Responsibilities and Scope
All responsibilities include, but are not limited to the below outline
Ensures policies, procedures and reporting are in compliance.
Recruits, interviews, and selects employees to fill vacant positions.
Conducts new employee orientations to foster positive attitude toward company goals.
Participates in safety committee, conducts facility walk-throughs identifying safety issues.
Works with management and senior HR in appropriate resolution of employee relations issues.
Ensures plant is FLSA compliant.
Assists management in union avoidance activities.
Conducts training when requested.
Investigates accidents and prepares reports for insurance carrier.
Leads monthly "Listening Sessions" with employees.
Requirements and Qualifications
Bachelor's degree or higher in Business Management, Psychology or any related field (preferred).
Advanced English Level (Must).
Experience of 3 to 5 years of working with a similar HR role in a Manufacturing environment.
Previous experience handling relations with Union labors.
Knowledge in Oracle, Cronos or any similar Talent Management System.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office suite, with strong grasp of Microsoft Excel.
In-depth knowledge of local government policy, regulations, and Mexican labor laws.
Availability to work at Soyaniquilpan de Juarez in Estado de Mexico.
