.Descripción y detalle de las actividades**Please submit your resume in English** The North America manufacturing Controller will act as a business partner with Plant and Financial Management to effectively manage and control the North American manufacturing operations and aspects of supply chain. This individual will lead the finance team based in Tijuana and be accountable for plant-level general accounting duties, as well as business analysis, strategic planning and financial planning. FP&A: (80%) - Supporting strategic decisions by means of sound business analysis (bus. modeling, opportunity & risk assessments, scenario analysis, etc.) and an "outside in" focus. - Driving critical financial operations KPIs such as Productivity, Inventory, CAPEX, Cost of Non-Quality, Bill of Material (BOM) savings and Integral Warehousing and Distribution (IWD) costs, labor efficiencies, material savings, etc. - Coordinating and being responsible for the factories monthly performance reviews, rolling forecasts and Annual operating plan - Driving breakthrough business performance by identifying improvements as well as out-of-the box saving- and growth opportunities - Identifying risks and opportunities to current financial projections and takes corrective actions where needed (e.G., margin improvement) - Monitoring and identifying financial/business risks and opportunitiesExperiência y requisitosFinancial Accounting & Close: (20%) - Assuring internal policies and controls are being followed in accordance with SOX, IFRS and Corporate Policy - Ensure appropriate U.S. GAAP accounting including inventory and related cost of revenues, revenue recognition, intercompany accounting and eliminations and other significant items. - Ensure accounting for new transactions or new accounting standards are properly recorded and disclosed in accordance with U.S. GAAP. - Review contracts and agreements for any financial and accounting implications to the transactions.. - Manage the close process, including ongoing monitoring and ensuring events occur on a timely basis, including managing monthly/quarterly accruals and balance sheet reserves.. - Prepare and / or ensure timely preparation of accurate recurring consolidated financial statements including income statements, balance sheets, equity roll forward, statements of cash flow, and related footnote disclosures. - Support process and ERP system initiatives and collaborate with corporate finance transformation initiatives in supporting the ongoing functionality and effectiveness of accounting systems. - Work with internal and external auditors, Tax Director and legal department on compliance and filings.
