Our people are passionate and qualified; by joining BRP, you will evolve at the heart of an experienced team that will welcome you with open arms.-SUMMARYNPD Engineer position is responsible for developing assembly strategies (Industrial engineering) and define tooling needs (Mechanical engineering) during new product development. It is a key position to create value at BRP and influence NPD deliverables with R&D Canada for the best readiness of the processes in P3, Pilot runs and SOP.**SECTION II**: EXPERIENCE AND EDUCATION- Engineering degree (Industrial - Mechanical or similar)- Experience of 4 years or more in manufacturing and/or product development- Excellent knowledge in power sport or automotive design and manufacturing.**SECTION III**: KNOWLEDGE, SKILLS AND CERTIFICATIONS- Design skills and experience in product development- Line Balancing and Time studies background- Excellent knowledge in DFA, PFMEA and Poka Yokes- Excellent knowledge in Lean Manufacturing, Mixed Model, One Piece Flow- Proficiency in the use of 3D modeling software (3DVIA, Catia)- Knowledge in SAP (desired)- Bilingual (80% English & Spanish) both oral and written. French is an advantage- Leadership, Influence, Accountability and Strong Communication skills.**SECTION IV**: MAIN TASKS AND RESPONSIBILITIES- Influence and support the product development activities from Juarez with R&D team in Canada- Define and review balancing for new products by focusing on Health and Safety, Quality and Productivity- Optimize production layout for new product introduction- Design assembly fixtures and achieve robust validations to ensure lean operations- Active leader in design reviews with R&D by being the assembly team voice- Develop processes to have smooth introduction on new products and line-up production activities- Actively minimize exposure and risks on project by developing mitigation plans- Any other duties or responsibilities as assigned by the supervisor.**Statement**:The above information is intended to describe the level and nature of the work to be performed by a person assigned to this classification, it may or may not represent the total of the activities.LI-CD2
