This involves negotiating contracts, ensuring quality standards, and maintaining relationships.- Analyzing costs associated with procuring materials and negotiating pricing with suppliers to ensure cost-effectiveness and favorable terms for the company.- Collaborating with various internal teams such as engineering, manufacturing, and logistics to ensure a smooth transition from product development to production. Coordinating timelines, quantities, and delivery schedules.- Identifying potential risks in the supply chain that could impact the introduction of the new product and developing strategies to mitigate these risks.- Ensuring that the materials or components procured meet the required quality standards and specifications for the new product.- Ensuring compliance with relevant regulations and maintaining accurate documentation related to procurement activities.**QUALIFICATIONS****Minimum Job Qualifications**:- 2-4 years of experience in procurement field.- Prior experience in procurement, preferably in a manufacturing or technology environment, is highly beneficial. Experience in supporting new product introductions or working closely with product development teams is advantageous.**Preferred Qualifications**:- Understanding of procurement processes, sourcing strategies, supplier relationship management, and contract negotiation.- Knowledge of supply chain principles, logistics, and inventory management.- Ability to analyze data, assess costs, and make informed decisions based on financial and market analysis.- Strong verbal and written communication skills to interact with suppliers, internal teams, and stakeholders effectively.- Capability to negotiate contracts, pricing, and terms with suppliers to achieve favorable outcomes.- Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, meet deadlines, and coordinate cross-functional teams.
