Job Summary:
The NPI Coordinator is responsible for managing the implementation and effective distribution of new products within the organization, ensuring a smooth transition from the development phase to manufacturing. This role involves coordinating cross-functional teams, ensuring adherence to timelines, and maintaining communication with internal departments and external customers. The ideal candidate will have experience in product launches and strong knowledge of industrial or electronics environments.
Key Responsibilities: Manage the implementation and distribution of new products within the organization, handling product launches and transitions into manufacturing.Inform involved departments about the initiation of the process based on purchase orders.Notify the planning department about the arrival of purchase orders for SIMULATE execution.Run demand simulations in the system to check material availability, subject to approval from the purchasing/materials department leader.Keep the Program Manager and/or Client informed about material availability and the progress of the process.Ensure compliance with the lead times in the Stages and Timeline chart (NPIF-001).Coordinate internal "readiness review" meetings with all areas involved in new product development when necessary.Consistently participate and coordinate weekly New Product meetings, ensuring effective communication across departments.In case of urgent requirements or customer expedite requests, consult and obtain approval from involved departments and define associated extraordinary costs.Once approved, negotiate with the client regarding costs associated with urgent requirements.Validate and accurately upload information into the New Products Program (PPN).Follow up on target dates and ensure compliance with timelines established in the PPN.Educational and Experience Requirements: Bachelor's Degree in Industrial Engineering, Electronics, or Business Management.2 years of leadership experience in a similar position.Experience in the Industrial/Electronics/Business Management sectors.Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office, MRP, Oracle, and MPS systems.Strong understanding of customer service principles and standards (IATF, ISO 14001, A9100D, AS5553D - Counterfeit Parts).Leadership and internal communication skills.Negotiation skills with the ability to effectively manage relationships with customers and stakeholders.Strong communication skills to ensure cross-departmental coordination.Personal Attributes: Proactive and organized with a strong ability to plan and manage time effectively.Detail-oriented with a focus on process improvement and applying the 6S methodology.Additional Responsibilities: Maintain compliance with environmental regulations and ensure adherence to Federal Labor Law.Consistently apply the 6S methodology to maintain order, cleanliness, and efficiency in the workplace.CVG IS AN EQUAL OPPORTUNITY EMPLOYER At CVG we embrace a diverse workforce, fostering an inclusive culture that values employees' contributions and develops their talents.
