Goal(s) of this position:Support the Sales, Operations and Quality departments in the introduction of new product builds.Work within the parameters of the QM system to help Variosystems achieve quality efforts and company-specific and general growth objectives.Efficient release from NPI to volume production.Support the production line in solving process problems related with NPI Launch.Tasks and Responsibilities:Work with cross-functional teams to ensure timely and successful completion of NPI projects, manage and oversee multiple projects simultaneously, own project schedules/delivery targets.Ensure all documentation required to fulfill compliance and quality requirements with quality control and assurance. Support risk management with stakeholders and help to mitigate risks.Supervise the prototype and 0-series production and support all process steps in production in close collaboration with operators, process engineers, and production specialists. Manage PRT's with external suppliers.Ensure compliance with processes and procedures. Help to optimize production processes in close cooperation with process engineers until the project can be transferred to series production.Support compliance to ECO procedures and work instructions on projects.Mitigate risk by identifying critical paths and developing alternate solutions.Track intake requests, deliverables, and ensure projects are on track.Monitor status of all new products and ensure effective execution of projects according to drawing, procedures, and customer requirements.Coordinate with Engineering and Production and develop/implement Manufacturing Plan for products.Define the initial route and cycle times.Review assembly drawings and identify specific and critical notes for the process.Collect information about the process and product during NPI and propose improvements.Make quotes for tooling necessary for the release to mass production identified by process engineers.Collect and organize data and create performance reports.Monitor NPI projects together with process engineers.Position requirements:Professional degree in Industrial/Electronics engineering.5 years of experience in a similar position.IPC Knowledge preferable.English 90% spoken and written.High communication skills.Proactive.Microsoft Office expert.Team presentation skills.#J-18808-Ljbffr
