Responsible for releasing sheet metal NPI's with good quality per customer's standards. Ensuring all parts are done on time and within budget also responsible for checking routings, BOMs and releasing work orders for all new products. Must be organized, self-motivated and a good problem solver. Must be willing to work overtime in the evenings, weekends when required.
**Duties & Tasks**:
- Coordinate and work with cross-functional teams to meet new and current customer demands and standards.
- Ensure all dimensional, welding and paint specs are met to a high standard.
- Design Tooling, Weld Fixtures, and Checking Fixtures using manual, automatic, and robotic clamping conditions.
- Determine the manufacturing feasibility of new jobs and processes.
- Follow policies and procedures related to the quality management system for engineering.
- Work with Quality to ensure the control plan and PFEMA requirements are integrated into the manufacturing drawings.
- Monitor 1st runs and ensure times in the system are correct.

- **Qualifications**
- Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Mechanical Technology, or equivalent or engineering experience.
- 5- 7 years of experience in sheet metal manufacturing especially Welding, Paint, Punch/ Laser & Powder coating
- Solid understanding of manufacturing best practices such as assembly, press brake, and punch/ laser cutting, welding & painting.
- Application knowledge of AWS symbols.
- Familiar with developing bills of material & routings
- Good communicator, 85% English written and oral,
