**STANDARD CABLE**, a leading company in electrical harnesses, is looking for:
**NPI ENGINEER**
MAIN ACTIVITIES:
- **Project Management**: Lead and manage new product introduction projects for electrical harnesses, ensuring that all milestones and deadlines are met.
- **Prototyping and Testing**: Oversee the creation of prototypes and conduct testing to validate the performance, reliability, and safety of new products.
- **Cross-functional Coordination**: Work closely with teams in manufacturing, quality, supply chain, and sales to ensure a smooth transition intoproduction.
- **Process Development**: Develop and optimize manufacturing processes for new products, including the creation of work instructions, process flows, and quality control plans.
- **Supplier Management**: Coordinate with suppliers to ensure that materials and components meet the required specifications and are delivered on time.
- **Documentation**: Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including design files, test results, process flows, and project reports.
- **Risk Management**: Identify potential risks in the NPI process and develop mitigation strategies to address them.
- **Continuous Improvement**: Implement lessons learned from each project to improve the NPI process for future products.
**REQUIREMENTS**:
- Advanced conversational English
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in product development or NPI, preferably in the automotive or electrical component manufacturing industry.
**Technical Knowledge**:
- Understanding of electrical harness design, manufacturing processes, and quality standards.
- Proficiency in project management tools.
