Join us and let's build the future.Job Summary:This person will manage the New Product Introduction and Sample C in a specific area. The Engineer will manage the Sample C through production, being in charge of the special instructions on the shop packets for this new item, work instructions, videos of the start-ups, and all the documentation needed to run a quality product in a normal situation. Additionally, this role will track the New Product Introduction on the production floor for the first 6 months of the product in production. This includes keeping track of new orders, checking the testing, maintaining a special file, and reviewing CPKs and trends of the product. This position will report directly to the Engineering Manager of the area and will work at Nogales Sonora Plant.Responsibilities:Running Sample C of each new project from R&D to assure that we have a manufacturable design.Creating all the process instructions to train process engineers and direct labor on the new products.Assisting the Quality Engineer in developing and implementing testing for the new products.Following up for 6 months on all customer orders for the new products, keeping quality and process records to assure that we have a capable design.Identifying process and equipment improvements to reduce scrap and work more efficiently.Required Skills and Experience:Education:Bachelor's Degree in Engineering (Industrial, Mechatronic, or similar).Experience:4+ years of relevant experience in the Engineering department, leading teams and/or projects.Experience in optical fiber.Knowledge and Skills:Leading skills.Logical thinker, diligent, and resilient.Analytical and data-driven.Strong communication skills.Language:Spanish: Native.English: Ability to read and write emails and reports; ability to maintain a work conversation with an English-speaking person.Let's Write the Next 100 Years Together.Join a global community striving to improve connectivity and security.
