The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing cross-functional teams, driving process improvements, and ensuring timely and efficient product launches.This position reports to the Production Manager in Matamoros, Tamaulipas site.ResponsibilitiesAs the NPI Leader, you will:Project Management: Lead cross-functional NPI teams to ensure successful execution of new product development projects. Develop project plans, set timelines, allocate resources, and monitor progress to ensure on-time delivery of project milestones.Strategic Planning: Work closely with senior management and key stakeholders to develop NPI strategies aligned with business goals and market needs. Provide input on product development priorities, resource allocation, and investment decisions.Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with R&D, engineering, manufacturing, supply chain, quality assurance, and marketing teams to drive collaboration and alignment throughout the NPI process. Facilitate communication and resolution of cross-functional issues.Risk Management: Identify potential risks and obstacles that may impact NPI projects and develop mitigation strategies to address them proactively. Anticipate and address technical, logistical, and market-related challenges to ensure successful product launches.Process Improvement: Continuously evaluate and optimize NPI processes to improve efficiency, reduce time to market, and enhance product quality. Implement best practices and lessons learned from previous NPI projects to drive continuous improvement.Quality Assurance: Work closely with quality assurance teams to establish and maintain rigorous testing protocols and quality standards for new products. Ensure that products meet regulatory requirements and customer expectations for performance, reliability, and safety.Supplier and Vendor Management: Coordinate with external suppliers, vendors, and partners to ensure timely delivery of components, materials, and services required for NPI projects.
