This individual will work closely with various departments, including procurement, engineering, production, and quality to ensure material availability aligns with project timelines and production schedules.Key Responsibilities- Coordinate with NPI program team, forecasting, Contract manufacturers and EMAT sites to develop a material plan to ensure materials are available for prototypes, pilots, and full-scale production- Collaborate with Ops Program Management teams to understand material specifications and requirements for new products- As part of the NPI program, important to understand the supply chain map and how the Bill of Materials (BOMs) are structured and are aligned to the supply chain map- Partner with procurement to source new materials and components- Analyze and forecast material needs based on production schedules and changes in demand.- Participate in cross-functional NPI meetings and provide updates on material status.- Support continuous improvement initiatives related to materials planning- Conduct supply/demand analysis to assess any material risks- Enhance and maintain relationships and lines of communication with internal and external partners.**Job requirements**:- 8 years of related experience in supply chain within electronics industry or server PCBA manufacturing with skills in demand planning, supply planning, inventory management, and/or production scheduling.- Experience working for or with Contract Manufacturers and suppliers supporting the production of electro-mechanical assemblies
