- NPI Operations Engineering Manager_
- located in Guadalajara, North Campus._
- Reporting to the NPI Director this role involves_ working responsible for directing the planning, development, implementation, and maintenance of processes and procedures within the organization related to the engineering function.
Responsible for managing and overseeing the methods, processes and operations for both new and existing products. Ensures the effective use of materials, equipment, and resources in producing cost-effective, quality products and customer solutions.
What a typical day looks like:
- _ Designs, implements, and develops product & process controls, testing, and manufacturing processes._
- _ Manages staff, resource allocation and assigns tasks to engineering and technical personnel._
- _ Leads process engineering team in the development of new products introduction, design intent, process controls, documentation and solid PFMEA management, adherence._
- _ Assures that processes meet quality, safety and customer compliance._
- _ Collaborates with other team leaders and departments._
- _ Proficiency using presentation software to explain complex information to non-technical management team members and customer._
- _ Ability to work on multiple projects in various stages simultaneously._
- _ Advanced experience using computer-aided design (CAD) platforms._
- _ Proficient experience using AGILE document management system._
- _ Assists product support areas in gathering and analyzing data._
- _ Participates with other senior managers in establishing corporate strategic plans and objectives._
- _ Drives engineering strategies to deliver customer requirements and recommend Flex capabilities in manufacturing and engineering services._
- _ Provides technical supplier management as related to product development and integration._

- _ Previous Experience in Design for Manufacturing or Design for Manufacturability (DFM), including DFx, DOE, DFA._
