Working with Development Teams to ensure effective design and transfer of products to manufacturing. Performs Quality Assurance activities intended to ensure effective product quality processes are in place and executed throughout lifecycle of product. Show leadership in driving program/projects and innovative approaches and solutions to problems.About the Job- Provide direction and oversight of all NPD Quality activities for assigned projects.- Review and provide input for design verification and validation protocols and reports to ensure compliance to customer, product, and/or regulatory requirements and standards.- Provide input to design and manufacturing documentation including material specifications, drawings, inspection procedures, and/or manufacturing procedures to yield a successful and sustainable product launch.- Supports supplier selection process to implement appropriate supplier quality controls during the development process.- Lead activities to ensure the "line readiness" activities are completed as required by customers including all relevant Advanced Product Quality Planning (APQP) documentation.- Contributes to root cause investigations using various problem-solving techniques and tools and assesses effectiveness of corrective actions.- Provides support in quality improvement opportunities as appropriate to legacy products, continuous improvement, and customer satisfaction.- Contributes to root cause investigations using various problem-solving techniques and tools and assesses effectiveness of corrective actions.- Lead effort and ensure completion of Risk Management activities for new and/or modified products and processes authoring risk management plans and reports, facilitating risk assessment activities.- Work with Program Management to integrate quality by design concepts into the design and development policies and procedures.-- Provide post release input from the quality system (non-conforming material reports, yield, rework) or external sources (customer complaints), for post release design and development activities
