.Descripción y detalle de las actividadesThe NPI Quality Engineer is responsible to ensure new designed products and product lines moves to a different facility, are flawlessly executed. This function is also responsible, at the plant level to coordinate significant process changes to support the coordination of Quality organization activities. Job Duties: - Execute the company project strategy and change management processes through disciplined approach to launch readiness as part of the company defined stage gate methodology. Work with product platform teams to ensure Quality and operational feedback is included in early conceptual stages for manufacturing feasibility. - Develop Quality project plans, risk assessment, timelines and identify equipment and/or external service relationships to support project completion including working with Engineering to develop a robust Design Verification Plan & Report (DVP&R) and participating on Production Preparation Process (3P) efforts. - Complete facility Quality and work with Supplier Quality team members to ensure various stage gate Quality deliverables such as PPAP and internal Quality requirements such as pFMEA, control plans, process capability and measurement systems effectiveness are thoroughly understood, action plans are created, status is tracked, and results are validated and effective. - Participate, lead and/or facilitate various aspects of the change management processes including Quality leadership of the cross-functional technical review (TR) ensuring all required deliverables for launch are successfully completed on-time and properly validated. - Develop project Quality metrics to monitor effectiveness and continuously improve the change management processes striving for a zero-defect launch. - Maintain awareness of current projects, timeline, accountability, action plan steps and barriers as well as develop methods to enhance project status and deliverable visibility across the organization. - Review and approve assigned Product Change Requests (PCR) and/or Engineering Change Notices (ECN) to ensure accuracy and completeness.Experiência y requisitosRequirements: - Bachelor's or University degree in engineering or business. - Five years discrete manufacturing experience in an automotive (OEM/Tier 1) environment, with at least 2 years' experience as the operational or Quality leader of product launches is needed. - English conversational level both written and spoken is a must. - ASQ certification as CQE, Lean and/or Six Sigma certifications are a plus. - Must have the ability to obtain a passport and visa to the US and various Asian countries. Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities : - "Change Agent" attitude with the ability to deliver on-time results in a fast-paced environment. - The ability to work cross-functionally in a matrix environment driving accountability and addressing barriers to improvement
