.**Job Summary**:NPI Sourcing Lead will be responsible for sourcing direct materials and supplier selection of components to support NPI (New Products Introduction) programs.**Duties and Responsibilities**:- Negotiate contracts and agreements. Develop strategies for goods and services based on an understanding of market knowledge, business requirements and balance leveraging with competition- Develops negotiating strategy with input from internal customers, acts as key commercial expert during negotiations, acts as primary contact for target suppliers.- Negotiate legal and commercial terms to achieve optimal business results. Identify key contract risks and the associated mitigation strategies- Challenge operational procedures.- Develop the negotiations plan. Work closely with Operations and Planning to develop and refine the negotiations strategy and plans of the region- Manage relationships across all department lines. Professionally communicate and interact with all levels of management both inside and outside of Procurement.- Create strategic alliances with vendors. Develop and maintain long-term supply partnerships with the vendor base to work together and find different avenues for reducing the total cost- Manage transfers (supplier to supplier, outsourcing) and various project in collaboration with engineering and quality- Monitor and continuously improve suppler performance against contractual standards- Secure commitment from suppliers in terms of quality, cost, and delivery- Implement cost reduction plans with suppliers by challenging existing portfolios- Lead various sourcing projects and transfers based on internal procedures and within assigned commodities- Estimates costs by analyzing labor, material, and time requirements pertaining to New Product Introductions for Costing purposes- Responsible for supplier visits to better understand manufacturing processes and identify areas for efficiency improvement and cost reduction- Actively contribute to supplier qualification, selection, and On-Going evaluation- Evaluates supplier reliability and aligns with Supplier Engineering, Design Engineering, and Supply Chain Management to develop new supply sources as needed.**Requirements**:- Bachelor's degree in relevant fields: Supply Chain Management, Finance, Business, Industrial Engineering.- Minimum of 5 years of relevant experience- Proficient in both English and Spanish- Passport and US visa available- Knowledge of supply chain processes and best practices including strategic sourcing, market analysis, contracting methodologies, risk analysis, principles of contract law and supplier performance management.- Strong influencing and negotiation skills to interact with suppliers and co- workers in a team-based environment- Analytical skills to aggregate, normalize and analyze spend data to identify trends and prioritize strategic procurement opportunities
